Admit it – there are superpowers you wish you had. At some point in your life, you’ve run around the house in a cape, or at least thought about doing it. Don’t worry. No judgment here. It’s fun to envision how different life would be if we developed superpowers of our own.
So, if you could pick just one superpower, what would it be? Invisibility, strength or healing? Time travel, telepathy, or speed?
I'm a realist, so making a character from the Avengers jealous over my superhuman badass-ness is just not possible, right? So for now I'll keep it simple and know that I'm pretty great at mind reading, with the power of listening as a close second, to elevate your personal brand.
When it comes to Phil, I joked that he's my tough subject excluding the "why" behind his elusiveness. Like many, he's sensitive to the possibility of over-sharing, particularly on social media, because maintaining his personal brand is important to him. Since much of my style includes lifestyle moments that hint at intimacy and vulnerability, I fell in love with this "blue steel" image. His teaching Sophia how to properly pose for the camera, Zoolander-style, and her failed attempt. It's an awesome example of one image that captures your joy, connection and legacy -- my ultimate goal as your trusted photographer. But could I go public with it?
You see, when we have a clear purpose for your photography needs and you share any sensitivities you may be feeling about your portrait session, I am on alert for you. My mission is to protect your personal brand, and to honor everything that you have privately expressed to me in order to deliver a series of images that exceed your expectations.
Something tells me when a moment is too personal, too private or too sensitive to share. Call it my superhuman mind reading power with a listening twist.
